Witches, Witches and more Witches!

Salem, Massachusetts, is a town that revolves around all kinds of witch stuff because it was the location of the Salem Witch Trials of 1692.  Everything is about witches here:  Police cars have witch logos, the school is Witchcraft Heights Elementary School, the athletic teams are named the Witches, and Gallows Hill, a site of numerous public hangings, is currently used as a playing field for sports. It was a fun little town to visit.  It had important historical sites, New Age and Wiccan boutiques, Halloween and witch-themed attractions and a nice downtown area with witches all over!  Oh, and, of course, the Witch Museum!

Most popular spot!

This was the first settler of Salem in 1679!  (Nice outfit!)

This was a good little place to have lunch!

This was a very old cemetery.  The oldest grave I could find was from the very early 1800's.

Beautiful flowers blooming everywhere!
